Singapore repeals gay ban

Singapore has finally repealed a ban on gay sex, effectively making it legal to be homosexual in the city-state. Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong (pictured) announced on national television that the government would abolish the colonial-era 377A law banning sex between men, saying “This is the right thing to do, and something that most Singaporeans will accept”.
