There will be no ‘dancing on your own’ when Swedish pop icon, Robyn, returns to Australia in November in what will be her first run of headline shows here in 14 years. Indeed, it’s much more likely that you will share the moment with thousands of adoring queer fans!
Robyn’s new album Sexistential is due to be released on March 27 and has already had two singles, Dopamine and Talk To Me. Her previous album, Honey, was released in 2018.
Robyn first burst into our hearts in 2007 with the single, With Every Heartbeat. She played a round of smaller shows in Australia at the time and then returned in 2012 on her Body Talk tour.
Describing the new album, Robyn says: “It’s like a spaceship coming through the atmosphere at a really high speed and crash landing. That’s how I felt — like I’d been searching too far out into space, and now I’m crashing back into myself.”
