As queer people, we love that disco played a big part in LGBTQIA+ history and the defiance of mainstream expectations. Also, who couldn’t love the energy and the vibe that encourages dancing and self-expression – dance it up baby! After all if Dave Grohl can get away with disco drums on Nirvana’s ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit’ … why can’t we!”
