Queer Screen’s 2025 mini-Mardi Gras Film Festival is hitting the Hume and heading to Canberra
Queer Screen’s 2025 mini-Mardi Gras Film Festival is on its way to the A.C.T and we’re inviting LGBTQI+ locals and allies alike to come together — for the love of cinema and the love of our community.
There is much to love in this year’s schedule of quality cinema, screening from 3 to 5 April at the Arc Cinema with thanks to our Co-Presenting Venue Partner, the National Film and Sound Archive.
The program boasts the very best of the 2025 Festival and includes CROSSING, which won the Audience Award for Narrative Feature and SOMEWHERE IN LOVE, which received the inaugural MGFF Best EU Feature Film Prize, presented by the Delegation of the European Union to Australia.
Also screening is the much-anticipated Bruce David Klein LIZA: A TRULY TERRIFIC ABSOLUTELY TRUE STORY, as well as one of our highest-rated narrative features, the charming and whimsical DUINO.
